Ordering online

Prices in our web site are quoted in Sterling Pound. Other currencies, e.g. Euro and US dollar, may be quoted alongside the Sterling Pound, which will depend on the location you have registered with us.
Customers login inside European countries, except from United Kingdom and Ireland, are quoted in Euro at the exchange rate which we have fixed. The exchange rate can be found below the product information box, and which is subject to change without prior notification. Your credit card is charged in Euro at the price as shown on screen at the time you place your order.
US$ quotation is for your reference only, the exchange rate may not be accurate at the time it is quoted. Our website will only calculate based on Sterling Pound, payment will be billed and charged in Sterling Pound only.
VAT
All prices quoted in our website, printed catalogue and essential guides are subject to current UK Value-Added-Tax (VAT). Except item(s) which are zero-rated VAT or items which are being delivered to countries outside EC countries, VAT will also be charged on delivery to EC countries unless the purchasers can provide us with a valid VAT number or VAT certificate. Current UK VAT rate is 20%
Books are zero-rated items.
If you are a VAT-registered business within the EC, you have to provide us your VAT registration number via email or by phone. Once your registration is validated, we will re-set your registration to enable you to purchase with VAT-exemption. However when placing your order online, our website will continue to add VAT into your shopping cart. When your order is processed by our office the VAT will then be removed from payment. It is important to qualify for VAT-exemption your order must have a delivery address inside the European communities and outside United Kingdom.
Oversea Customers
Oversea Customers are advised to check with their own local Government / Customs / Imports Dept for any importation restrictions, import tax and duty, prior to making a purchase with us. Harmony Medical is only responsible to ensure your order is despatched according to your instructions. Harmony Medical reserves the right to refuse to accept goods to be returned due to any importation issues. The oversea customers are reminded that they will have to bear both forward and return cost of delivery plus re-stocking fee as outline in our Terms and Conditions.
