Description

Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) Biofeedback (or scientifically Cephalic Vasomotor Biofeedback) is a biofeedback for the purpose of anti-migraine treatment. The BVP sensor is placed over the left or right temple to monitor the temporal artery.

The patients learn to control the vasomotoric action of their cephalic blood vessels. As changes occur in the blood volume of the temporal artery, this is reflected in the visual and acoustic feedback signals of the BVP measuring devices.

Indication for BVP Biofeedback: Migraine
Modes of operation:

* Setting mode for viewing, modifying and saving the user settings.
* Active mode which begins with the calibration followed by the measurement session.
* Data review mode for viewing the saved session.
