Authors

Professor Chen Zhi-qiang is chief physician, and doctoral advisor at the Second Teaching Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Chen excels in the integrative treatment of stubborn and critical diseases, and also achieves fine therapeutic effects in the treatment of urinary and prostate conditions. He has supervised 6 research projects at both ministerial and provincial levels, and has been also distinguished with 5 provincial awards. He has published over 30 academic papers, serving as chief director of 4 monographs including Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment in Andriatrics with Chinese Medicine and Integrative Surgery.

Professor Li Li-yun is a master’s level supervisor at the Second Teaching Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. She previously served as Director of Gynecology at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. She has accumulated an abundance of clinical experience in her nearly 50 years of clinical teaching and research work. She specializes in the integrative treatment of menstrual disorders, female infertility, and female genital inflammation. Dr. Li has developed multiple approaches in the treatment of gynecological disease, especially infertility and is highly respected for her contributions to the field. She was further recognized as Master Physician in the National Master and Apprentice Education Program. She currently serves as a council member of the Guangdong Promotional Committee of Chinese Medicine, and Advisor of the Gynecology Specialty Board of the Guangdong Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine.
