The Modulo 200 is a modular system for assisting in diagnosis and treatment using Frequency therapies. It is particularly well adapted to the practice of Auricularmedicine, Auriculartherapy, Reflexotherapy and local biostimulation therapy, specially Laser therapy.

The Modulo 200 is a perfect part of your consultation. It has a wide range of applications. You can choose those that suit your current approach from among the range of Modules developed by Sedatelec, and as time goes on expand your inventory as you needs and interests develop.

Indications
Module 200 is paricularly effective for:
- the identification of pathologies and their treatment by luminous or laser frequency stimulation, in particular with the examination of the Nogier pulse (VAS).
- the stimulation of reflex points (reflexology, acupuncture, auriculartherapy, etc.)
- localised treatment, always based on the frequency biostimulation.

Contraindications
There are no particular contraindications linked to prescribed use of the Modulo 200. Depending on the Modules used, the contraindications are listed in the paragraph on its application and in the safety document that comes with the Module.

Why frequencial therapy?

The human organism reacts preferentially to stimuli emitted at certain frequencies of associations of frequencies.

Plug the MOD35 into the MOD02 the base unit, you can quickly change to other module, e.g. MOD13 Electrical Modules - Auto GS differential electric Module, for conducting electric stimulation with the same output frequency. It can be done during the same treatment session.

Electric stimulation
The application is painless and can be initiated once the point is detected.

The electric cutaneous stimulation of the point (TEAS Transcutaneous Electric Acupoint Stimulation) is, in its effects, similar to electro-acupuncture (EA), where the current is applied through the inserted needles. It is for non-invasive application of "understandable" information by the cellular receivers. The frequency of the electric micro-pulses is between 0 and 80Hz, to avoid all risk of muscular tetanisation, and the waves are null-average unsymmetrical two-phased to avoid all electrolysis of the tissue. So that the energy delivered by pulse remains constant, the intensity of the current decreases exponentially, automatically regulated by the local impedance of the skin.

Laser stimulation
The Laser emission will act like electric or needle stimulation ("needle laser"), by disturbing the local electric balance at the acupuncture point, information which mobilises energy in accordance with the principles of acupuncture. The energy imparted is effective, even through it is not comparable to moxibustion, but the action is probably more electromagnetic. This laser stimulation also has the advantage of being totally painless, without causing a cutaneous breach, and contact is even unnecessary. Today laser acupuncture is often used in experiments, as its effect is comparable to needle acupuncture, and its ease of use makes it useful for double-blind trials.

Depending on whether the point that you are going to stimulate is located on the surface or below the skin, choose a Laser Module with a greater or lesser peaking capacity.
For shallow acupuncture, the face and sensitive areas You may select:

Electric stimulation
To directly mobilise the nerve cells, both Modules let you locally apply electric micropulses. This application can be immediate after detection of the point, without moving the electrode. You can also choose a weaker pulse level, for patients who are especially sensitive.

Luminous stimulation
Light, as an electromagnetic energy, can elicit different biological effects. Today local action is well known, with, for example, tanning by direct stimulation of the melanocytes, or remote stimulation by neuro- or hormono-mediators, as with phototherapy through retinal stimulation.
In the visible or near invisible (infra-red) spectrum, pulsed incoherent light, applied selectively to specific areas, has interesting therapeutic properties,
mobilising the organism's own resources.
Depending on which Light Module you use, you mobilise some cutaneous receivers sensitive to that particular wavelength (infrared light at 880nm, red light at 630 to 750nm). The application is obviously totally painless, and on the order of 1 to 2 minutes per point.

Laser stimulation
The auricular points are very close to the surface, so it is not necessary to use a lot of power. The stimulation time will be reduced, on the order of 30 seconds per point. The application is painless, a sensitive patients (e.g.: a child) may feel a tingle without danger.

Treating a Zone, a Lesion..

Local bio-stimulation has been often studied, particularly using Lasers (Laser therapy, LLLT, etc.). It was thus proven that the direct stimulation by light of the tissue increases local healing capacity and diminishes undesirable effects (inflammation, pain, etc.).
Absorption of energy, assimilated by the cell to transform it into ATP, is significant. The frequency information is also very important. You may prefer the point-by-point application (1cm between each point treated) to scanning the area.

Specifically designed for treatment within the mouth (dental) and any application where the sterilisation of the tip is necessary. Supplied with 2 removable Optic Fibers for sterilisation.
