Description

Luminous stimulation

The light elicits a response from the cutaneous photoreceptors, and the frequency information is transmitted to the brain, triggering the therapeutic reaction. The choice of colour affects the mobilized receivers, bearing in mind that light ray penetration depends on the wavelength, is greater for infrared, less for red and white light. Nonetheless the broadest white light spectrum activates several types of photoreceptors.

Light, as an electromagnetic energy, can elicit different biological effects. Today local action is well known, with, for example, tanning by direct stimulation of the melanocytes, or remote stimulation by neuro-or hormono-mediators, as with phototherapy through retinal stimulation.

In the visible or near invisible (infrared) spectrum, pulsed incoherent light, applied selectively to specific areas, has interesting therapeutic properties, mobilising the organism's own resources.

Depending on which Light Module you use, you mobilise some cutaneous receivers sensitive to that particular wavelength (infrared light at 880 nm, red light at 630 nm) or with a broad spectrum (white light, 370 to 750 nm). The application is obviously totally painless, and on the order of 1 to 2 minutes per point.
