Acutrode module + 100 adhesive plasts

The Acutrodes Module is a removable nozzle that is easily fitted to and removed from the handpiece of any Modulo base. It is composed of a 4 connectors linked to 4 gold plated mini electrodes called acutrodes. These are in turn placed on the skin using single use double sided adhesive plasters (see product: MOD411). The electrodes are simple to use and to place upon the skin, furthermore, the gold plated contact allows for maximum conductivity and purity.

When using on the Modulo 100 Base:
Treatment Mode: It stimulates 1-4 points simultaneously using small electric pulses, ideal for replacing needle stimulation in acupuncture.

When using on the Modulo 200 Base:
Treatment Mode: It stimulates 1-4 points simultaneously using small electric pulses, ideal for replacing needle stimulation in acupuncture.

Today it is known that electric stimulation at low frequency (LF) causes an increase in the rate of endorphins in the cerebrospinal fluid (an effect countered by the administration of naloxone- an antagonist of opioids). High frequency stimulation (HF) frees dynorphines, which have a particularly medullar action. The application must last longer (5 to 20 minutes) to obtain enough analgesia, and the effect continues after stopping the electric stimulation (longer for the low frequency). The application is painless, but on points that are especially sensitive, the patient may feel a tingle without danger.
