Neo Acu-Point Moxa (Stick-on Ibuki Moxa) gentle heat type

A new type of indirect moxa - just push the moxa in the paper tube upward, and apply directly ot the skin. A gentle, and non-excessive heat penetrates the acu-point, and the heat effect continues even after treatment is finished.

Instructions:

1. Remove a mini-moxa cone;
2. Holding the moxa cone upright (the base is gummed),
put the cone through the White base at the corner of the tray and push the moxa cone out from the tube;
3. Stick the cone to site where you want to moxa;
4. Light the moxa cone with an incent stick / akabana stick.
5. Remove moxa cone after extinguished.

Remove the cone with a forcep as soon as your patient complains it is too hot.

Precautions:
1. The moxa is not allowed to burn down to the skin for children.
2. Do not burn moxa on points in the inflamed area. Select proximal and distal points for inflammation.
3. It is not recommended that moxa be placed on the face, because of the risk of scarring.
4. Do not treat the patient who is very hungry or has just eaten a big meal.
5. Do not treat the patient who is in very serious cases. For example, serious cancer, high fever or fatigue.
6. For pregnant or possible pregnant woman, do not apply moxa to the lower abdomen.
7. Do not apply moxa to the patient who took hot bath or sauna an hour before or after.
8. Do not apply moxa to the patient who took alcohol, sleep-inducing drugs or narcotics.
9. Do not apply moxa over large blood vessel.
