Made from carefully selected superior quality mugwort gathered only during midwinter when it is at its peak quality from Ibuki Mountain. The super-pure, extra fine texture makes this the highest quality moxa available. Excellent for direct moxibustion. Pure moxa is less likely to burn the skin because of its high concentration of essential oils.
