The device consists of the following components:
- digital pointsearch detector with LCD display,
- handprobe with stimulation function and LEDS for silver and gold detection,
- patient hand probe.
The device has 3 modes:
- automatic measurement
- manual measurement
- edit mode for the stimulation
There are four types of search options while using either the automatic or the manual search mode:
- Ear
- Ear-Gold - only gold points are detected and displayed
- Ear-Silver - only silver points are detected and displayed
- Body - In "body"-mode only the inner sensor is analysed. The gold/silver detection is not active.
The probe emits green LED for the gold points and yellow LED for the silver points. Also the Pointselect accompanies the detection of a gold or silver point with a distinguishable signal tone for each.
Stimulation:
After the device has detected the point, it is possible to do the stimulation with the probe immediately. Practitioners can choose different frequencies following the principle of Dr. Bahr and Dr. Nogier. It is also possible to setup individual parameter settings.
Sound:
The volume of the signal tone is adjustable from 0 to 10.
