Patients who suffer from a reaction to nickel may have to use needles made of solid gold or silver elements. If reaction to the nickel element is not severe it may be possible to use acupuncture needles fully coated in silver or gold to seal-off and prevent exposure to nickel.

The Classic Plus All-Gold plated acupuncture needle is crafted to address the above problem. In addition with gold's known therapeutic properties, it can be used to enhance the 'Bu' supplementation acupuncture technique.
