This book gives information regarding symptoms of most ailments before going on to enlighten you about both orthadox and alternative treatments. The fact that it provides various options of alternative therapies and in some cases only reccomends orthodox treatments is of great value to the reader. I have used this book since I bought it in 1987 as my first port of call when dealing with all my families ailments. It hasn't let me down yet.
