Description

Precautions:
1. The moxa is not allowed to burn down to the skin for children.
2. Do not burn moxa on points in inflamed areas. Select proximal and distal points for inflammation.
3. Due to risk of scarring the usage of moxa on the face is not recommended.
4. Do not treat patients who are very hungry or had just eaten a big meal.
5. Do not treat patients who are suffering from very serious conditions. For example, serious cancer, high fever or fatigue.
6. Do not apply moxa to the lower abdomen with pregnant or possibly pregnant woman.
7. Do not apply moxa to patients who took a hot bath or a sauna an hour before or after treatment.
8. Do not apply moxa to patients who consumed alcohol, sleep-inducing drugs or narcotics.
9. Do not apply moxa over large blood vessels.
10. Do not apply moxa directly.
